Just picked up a 2014 1500. Noticed the rims aren't chrome, but rather have plastic chrome covers.
Does anyone know what the rims look like under there? Maybe even a picture?

Ideally looking to pop off the covers and have the rims powder coated black.

Would like to avoid taking the covers off and find **** looking rims underneath. Not worried about the leftover epoxy or double-sided tape residue, Worried about the actual design of the rim.

Anything helps, Thanks in advance dudes

Search you-tube and you will find several videos about removing the chrome plastic.
It's a real PITA! Whether it would be worth the trouble is up to you.

Better off finding some styled steel rims for powder coating and selling the OE "chrome" rims to recoup some of your investment. Just my thoughts...
