Stock 20" wheels thinkimg about going with some hubcentric spacers. Curious to see brand and size people are using, and info on quality. Thanks!

No different than changing to diff offset wheels ... I went from +19 stock offset to 0 offset wheels with no issues ... That would equal a 3/4” spacer ... Guys all over the forum runnin -12 and -24 wheels

If you go less than 1.5" you'll have to cut the studs.

I have 1" bora spacers along with the wheels at a -24mm offset20180913_130932.jpg

Bora all the way. 1 1/2” for me.

Tried the cheap hub centric and it’s not worth it..

Not bora’s, but I’ve had 2” spacers with my stock wheels for about a year and a half now, with no issues at all.

Are 1" safe? Not much material I would think but 1.5" would be to much in my case.

They are not plastic. They are 6061 T6 billet aluminum. I have no idea why it says ABS in the title?

The studs on the spacer have to match the studs on the truck. At some point during production, the thread pitch, and possibly the diameter of the lug studs were changed.

1” are fine. However, most people find that with spacers less than 1.5”, they have to trim down the factory lug studs. The design of the wheel can also play into this as well. Some rims have voids on the back side that will allow the extra stud length to clear just fine, while others do not, and will require stud trimming.

As safe as the person installing. If you cut the studs to the desired length and torque the spacer there are absolutely no problems. Where you will run into problems is when you don't cut the stud properly and the spacer manages to come loose because the length of the stock stud is causing the spacer to loosen up.

Its no different then forgetting to torque your wheels. They will still come flying off.
