So I know this gets written about a lot, but from my research seems like my situation may be a bit different and I’m sure many others are or have been in same shoes.

Went to the dealer today for spacer install and we measured, seems like I’d need 1 3/4 in back and 1 1/4 in front.

Mopar doesn’t offer them.

I’m trying to align these night edition wheels that are pretty much summer tires with the new off-road textured fender flares I just got installed. Plan on buying winter wider tires around November (I’ll post back on here around then) and wouldn’t need the wheel spacer then. Parts guy recommended a L/T tire because it would be wider.

But my situation is I have the Lifetime Warranty and will do anything to avoid voiding it. Called them last week and called them today and the answer pretty much remained the same, they don’t know what they are or if they’re covered or not but “if it damages a covered part then it won’t be covered”. I’d go with a smaller spacer than a longer one even if it doesn’t look as good, because the potential for damage. Plus some seem like you have to torque them every so often..

Yea I should just buy bigger wheels, but the money’s just not there right now and honestly I love these stock Sport night edition wheels. So every 6 months I’ll swap them for winter tires.

But trying to figure out the spacer situation is such a headache. Now dealer seems like they can’t get them through the place they normally do (asking for details and will post back), and seemed to tell me to purchase them aftermarket and they’ll install them but can’t provide any guarantees with the warranty...

Anyone have any input or suggestions? I do love the Bora ones and I’d probably go with those if I had to, but really don’t wanna void this damn lifetime warranty....cuz if it’s not through the dealership they’ll point fingers at the spacer if anything under the truck starts to act up just so they get out of it...

Thanks.

Seems to me you shouldn’t have bought the flares. You should have had them install their 2” level kit, then bought some nice 285 tires or 295’s and you wouldn’t need the flares nor the spacers.

I feel what ur saying but they make it look sick!! No regrets with the flares. Just blows if spacers cause any issues there goes the warranty on those parts..but bigger tires supposedly put the same amount of strain on the parts as wheel spacers do. Plus couldn’t afford lift right now, might not even lift it because how great it feels now (wheel see how it drives after spacers though if I go that route)..
