I'm a total noob on spacers. I'm assuming that they push your rims out, away from the truck? Are there any downside/side effects to having them on? I have a 2016 rebel with the Mopar fender flares and when I look at it, I keep think the rim/tires should be farther out. If I did that, I would use "wheel spacers"?...1"?

yes that is exactly what they do....with your truck i would be worried about possible rubbing with the active air suspension if you push them out too far

Sorry I was replying to another poster. But to help you we need to know the exact specs of your wheels. You say they are 20x9 rockstars but ther website shows 20x8.5 or 20x10.

A question regarding the spacers & Loctite.

I've got the Bora 1.5" spacers on my winter set of wheels/tire. They were installed by a very reputable shop that routinely deals with spacers so I assume they used Loctite on the spacers.

Once spring arrives, I'll be doing my own switchover to my summer wheels. Am I going to have any issues removing the spacers using a breaker bar with the Loctite on them?

Then when next winter arrives, I'll re-install using the Loctite......is there a specific Loctite I should be buying for this type of application?

You can measure the width of the wheel simply with a measuring tape. The offset should be stamped on one of the inside spokes.

Don't install them with Loctite. Between that and the corrosion that will happen in there they become next to impossible to remove. I used Loctite when I first put mine on and I thought for sure I was going to snap a stud trying to get them off. The last two years I've installed everything with Never Seize to fight the corrosion problem. I haven't had a single nut come loose. So essentially I recommend doing the exact opposite of what you're thinking.

OK thanks Brandon.....

I saw several mentions of using Loctite in this thread & thought I better inquire because I hadn't heard of it being used until I read it in the thread.

Oh hell no. You dont want to use loctite on wheel adapters.

I've got my 1 1/2" from MyWheelAdapters.com and have been fine going on 4 years.

I check the lugs every now and then, but they are never lose. I do TQ them to 130 ftlb.
