I have a feeling that I'm going to have a big problem because of the positive offset on these wheels..

After reading so many different things about wheels and tires not fitting/rubbing, I started to get nervous about whether mine are going to fit or not. I am getting nervous that I ordered the wrong wheel. Please let me know how the fit will be and what the stance is going to look like (narrow or wide) because the more I read about offset and backspacing, the more confused I get.

Truck: 2012 1500 Outdoorsman Quad Cab
Lift (Has recommended backspacing as 5.5): Rough Country 6" Suspension Lift
Wheels :uhoh2: Fuel Pump, 20x9 with 5 on 5 and 5 on 5.5 Bolt Pattern, Offset 20, Backspacing 5.75
Tires: General*Grabber AT 2 35x12.5x20

Please let me know if I'm going to run into any problems. I know they make the same wheel with offset of 1 (5" backspacing).. should I have gone with that?

yes I think you have a problem..the stock rim on my truck was 19 offset I bought fuel pumps with 1 offset and put 325/65/18s on that rim and it doesn't get any closer to the uca than that no way stock offset would work with that my truck is a 2010..im sure someone else will chime in here.

Thought so.. is this something that can be fixed with spacers or do I need to return these and get a new wheel?

I am by no means an expert here but I think its safe to say yes you should have gotten the 1 offset. like I said mine are very close to the uca my tire is a little wider than yours but with that offset your tire is going to be in to the uca. wait for one of the wheel setup guys to post on this thread but I wouldn't mount the tires on the rims that 20 offset is stock and just couldn't work...good luck.

Thanks for the help, can anyone else chime in? Need help ASAP please, truck was supposed to be dropped off for installation on the 13th. Please help me fix this before then!

If I look for a new whee, what do I look for to make sure it will fit? Does the backspacing have to be 5.5 and offset should be negative?

Or you can, when you get the wheels... take off one of your front wheels and place your new after market wheel on the lugs and see how much there is to play with. Turn the wheel all the way to see if there is enough room. Be sure not to scuff or damage the wheel so you can return it if you need to
