Ok, so I want to go from a 20" to a 17" and run a 315/70/17 BFG KO2, trying to figure of what offset/back spacing I'm needing here, it's driving me nuts. Truck is leveled at 2.1, if needed I can go to 2.8 and add a rear spacer just not sure what size. Any help is appreciated.

0 offset to -12 0ffset on a 17x9 rim which should put you at 5" to 4.53" back spacing.
From I have found stock 17s are like 5.75 bs so you need to have 5.5" or more bs to clear the upper a-arms.

Zero offset on a 9" wheel is 5" backspacing

Less backspacing clears the control arm more

With that diameter tire and wheel offset you should be fine. If you have any rubbing It would be minimal
