I’m looking for a standard ( great quality ) one for my Ram. The ones in the parts stores are either low quality, or do not fit correctly and rattle around. Links to where would also be of great help.

I will never buy another ball mount. Super strong, tight fit doesn’t rattle and worth every penny. The stainless steel balls are super easy to clean off and the billet aluminum looks great!

This looks like a win win, I just need to go where they sell them and purchase one. :)

That would be the one I would buy if I needed another. I have a Trimax Razor that I had on my Ram 2500 then I used it with my F150 and now my 1500. I don't need the drop but I did with the 2500.

This thing is so solid I use it for everything, and the fact I could get it in a 2.5” shank so I didn’t need an adapter was perfect. It’s also super lightweight being aluminum.

I got mine off Amazon.

I've been very satisfied with the Reese one wrench hitches and balls. Snug fit in the receiver, and they have a number of ball materials to choose from.

I've been happy with the fit of Curt units I've had too, and would go so far as to say most major manufacturer mid rages are good when used with a correctly sized hitch pin.

U-Haul tends to have decent pricing and selection at larger locations, and may let you take stuff out and try it on the truck. In the US I'd also consider etrailer and Amazon.
