I stuck the brake controller to the underside of the dash on the last couple vehicles, using heavy duty velcro. Apparently the texture of the plastic panel on the Ram doesn't work with adhesive on various types of velcro, it won't stay put. Also, the wife doesn't want it on the panel under the dash because she bumps it with her knee and I don't want to drill holes in the dash. I settled for mounting it to a block of 2x6 sitting in the floor console tray. I can still reach it easily if I need to adjust it or activate it manually, it doesn't move, and it's easily unplugged to remove it.

I screwed mine in on the far left side, just above the e-brake release. Just have to remember to put the seat back on exit, so I dont whack it with my knee.
