I'm gonna tackle my brakes this weekend and just wanted to get some thoughts on the different types (metallic, ceramic, etc.) that are available. Which do you guys prefer? I don't like noise and I don't want tons of dust either. Also, what are your thoughts on slotted/cross-drilled rotors? I figure I may as well go all out if not too expen$ive. Going on a road trip over the 4th of July and don't want any stopping issues. Thanks, guys.
