Which LED Licesne plate bulbs

I know I need a 921, but I'm looking for ones that won't give me error messages also something not overly bright. Anyone have any recommendations?

I had to add resistors to mine. Im sure they make bulbs with the resistors in them but I didn't spend a bunch of time looking. They are cheap and won't take a couple minutes to install.

194 is what you want to look for..Canbus error free ones.

These are the lights I have in my license plate lights, they are bright but not so overly bright that they light up my tailgate like others. They do not throw any error codes. I got the cool white version.

Yup, thats what I got, 194's, no errors.

That's the one thing I haven't liked about the LED Plate bulbs, they usually light up the whole street, lol. Even though the white looks so much better.

You can get a error from the plate lights? I have plain 194 LEDs in my 13 and now my 14 and haven't had a error message yet. Does it happen right away or after time

What replacement Led bulbs for headlights and fog lights do you guys use? I didn't want to go hid , just regular bulb replacement with a bright white or blue.

I put the projector Ram headlights in from Retroshop, and put 9155's in the fogs over the 9145's. No LED in either,

What Type of LED for license plate lights

Sorry for the thread bump but I didn't see anything really showing the difference between the amount of LED's for a license plate light. In this post you guys show one with a top facing LED. Is that fine in cool blue for the license plate? I don't need it to be blinding, but the nice white of the cool blues do look much better than stock.

The license plate lights don't trigger the error codes. I have the one dollar ebay special in them and have been going strong for well over a year.

Mole I've read what you said, and then others are saying that the 13+ are more picky, keep in mind I have a 15. I'm more worried about having floodlights out back I've looked at the 5 SMD and these top firing.

I just looked at that link....why don't they give you the option of different colors with that single LED. I want the Cool White with that single emitter.
