Hi, new member here. Just picked up a 2006 Ram 1500 Night Runner 4WD last sunday. I love this thing so far!

So i have been already looking at upgrades and first thing i want to do is level the front end. Looks like there are multiple different kinds and kits. Just wondering what the popular kit is and where to get it. Im looking for just a level look. Im seeing kits for 2" and 2.5", kits with new shock mounts, some require longer shocks, and many different prices. I have looked at summitracing.com and jegs.com so far. What are peoples' thoughts?

Are you looking for inexpensive? Or are you willing to spend more money for adjustable shocks that members say ride better than stock?

Welcome!

Hell Bent Steel is a sponsor on here. They'll have everything you need and for a great price. Check out they're website, they have a great FAQ page that really sold me on their product.

Spoiler alert: No modification to the shocks is necessary unless that is just something that you want to do. If you're just "looking for the leveled look" then it should do fine.

Take some measurements from the ground to the top of your fender wells at all 4 tires. The difference between front and back will tell you exactly how much you need to come up to be level. For $79 you won't beat this product.

As for a link, take a look on the right side of your page and all of our sponsors are listed there with links. Or try google lol

Welcome. A lot of people like the Bilstein 5100's because they ride nice and allow you to adjust up to 2.75". They are a little more costly, but IMO if it's something you are interested in, wait, save up little more money and go that route.
