which mats are best

Ya, all I can say on this topic is that I have the stock ones, and would definitely recommend looking into aftermarket options.

EDIT: By stock, I mean the OEM rubber slush mats.

I searched and had no luck but wondering if anyone has a set of the Husky X-Act Contour?

It seems to be more rubber-like similar to slush mats but with more coverage typical of the Husky or Weathertech.

Well I just got some of these mats delivered today. Will try to get some pics posted along with a quick reveiw in the next day or two.

I reallllly enjoy my husky weatherbeaters. My coworker has them in his 2010 and we were cleaning his truck, He's had them since he got it and the carpet looks brand new. Better than my few month old 2012 with factory mats. I got some black and they fit great and stay put. Just a little slick sometimes (I use interior cleaner not protectant) so I attribute it to them. Plus a lifetime warranty

I wanted the exact contour but husky did not list them on their site for the Quad cab.

I need to get some floor mats for m 2013 cc Laramie. I used to have husky matts in an old blazer and they worked well for hunting and such. I wear a suite everyday now, so for plastic mats qlikely wouldn't be ideal (hard on the shoes), but I do need something for front (atv'ing and bowhunting) and back (2 kids). Are the weathertecs a softer material than the huskys? A good fit is important to me...I don't want anything that moves around and slides all over the place. Wish I could see some firsthand before buying...maybe trucking thunder has them in stock....

My husky's are actually a pretty soft material not like a hard rubber but not like a floor mat rubber either.

One bad thing about the floor liners is if you step on a greasy/slippery fluid that doesn't dry, there's no way of drying the bottom of your shoes off like with the factory floor mats

I've got gator guards in both of my trucks. The material is similar to a rubber mud flap. Pretty soft & flexible, they stay in place, and are very durable!

Well finally got my Husky X-Act Contour mats put in my truck and I must say I am pretty impressed. They are made of a softer, rubber-like material which offers more flexibility, more like the OEM slush mats. Fit was pretty good, but being ****-rententive like I am, I did find a few small gaps. Nothing major. Pics below.

3D Floor liners by U-ACE. Only available for 2009-2011 Rams. Maybe 2012 if floors haven't changed? I have these in my Honda Fit and they're incredible. They're very tough and they don't slide around one bit. Almost like they stick to carpet. Plus the 3D effect looks incredible.

Got the Wades in yesterday, damn they fit good! Slightly out of shape when I first put em in, but I had a 3 hour drive after and the heat got them fitting tight to the curves. Look like they should be OEM!

I am liking the looks of those Husky Xact Fits. No place has those, or the Weather Tec's in stock around me....I have a 2013 Laramie CC with the beige and canyon brown interior...would you all do the tan mats (which would match the seats I THINK(???) and contrast against the dark brown carpet, or just go with black????

I can't complain about the weather tech, a little pricey but after a whole canadian winter and not a stitch of road salt on the carpet.

They appear as if they would become slick once your feet are wet: I see no ridges or traction marks.

There are ridges on the liners. You can scrap your boots on them.

They haven't become slick on me and they've been wet.

I just ordered the "Husky Liners Custom Fit Front and Second Seat Floor Liner Set for Select Dodge Ram Models (Black)"

There are some good mats available, but it seems many that I find don't fit the truck I own or at least the website I was on indicated that.

These though look ok. I had the same brand with my F250 and they lasted 10 years, my carpet and carpeted mats looked new when I traded in. I kept the liners, guess I will either give them away or sell them on the cheap.

Weather tech!! They won't slide if your truck has the hooks built into the floor. They are the best mats I've ever used
