First off, this (pic below) is a 'topside creeper'. If it needs any further explanation, you can't be considered adequately informed enough to actually own and drive a pickup truck......:bleh:

I'm shopping around and this is the best one I've seen so far. It folds up totally flat for easy storage against a wall, which is one of my biggest concerns. It looks comfortable and seems pretty sturdy too. I didn't really need one of these with my last truck (Chevy 1500 Silverado), but my RAM 1500 is almost impossible to reach down to the engine (unless you've got arms as long as Wilt Chamberlain maybe, haha).

Any recommendations or feedback for one of these?

Not bad, but it needs padding on the uprights do it doesn't scratch the side of the pickup.
Agreed, but it looks like I'd probably need to add some padding on any of them that I've seen. But that's an easy job.

There is actually padding on most of the supports, it's kinda hard to see in the pic.

Agreed, I can see the padding on some of the supports. It is just that I have learned, anything that can scratch you paint will, so I am an×l about making sure everything is covered. Even the zipper on my coveralls. :)

I still amazes me what the auto word delete *s out on this forum.

Teuth be told, if you need one of those girly ladders you should to consider yourself man enough to work on a truck
No smily face but I will take this as humour anyhow. I am 5'8, which is already a big problem working on newer Ram 2500s, but I am also 70 years old. Let me know if you are still working on your own cars when you hit 70.

Be sure to remind me in 30 years or so to let you know if I'm still wrenching...I'm liable to forget myself "insert smiley face"

I still have an 18" chunk of tree trunk where I parked my old truck. The new one is considerably taller and I am pursuing the idea of getting all work on it done by others. Age and obsolete knowledge!

I think its the same model but a lot cheaper.

Anyways I thought about getting one but I don't know how much I'd use it. I try keeping the miles off my truck so in theory if I don't drive it I can't break anything lol. Stepping on a cooler or parking the old polaris sportsman next to the side I'm working on and putting a cushion down on the front rack to kneel on has worked so far.

I think it is one from Horrible Freight. Works out pretty good though. Worst thing about it is I get a sore belly from laying my fat a$$ on it.....lol.
