I'm probably going to upgrade to the 3.0 Whipple when it's released for the Ram. If anyone wants a gen 4 2.9 head unit keep an eye on the for sale section in 2-3 months.View attachment 224920
Can't wait to see it done exactly the build I wanted. But the fact I got a fat pig I got a new toy.View attachment 224929

Sorry to hijack @ScLeCo but @Ohio5pt7 WTF man, you holding out on me!?!? Need some info on the Fox body lol. Sorry, I am a Mustang guy and my 1st one was a 92 LX hatch. Love the Fox platform for it being fairly light weight and super easy to work on. Thoroughly enjoying my 13 tho.

My next Stang will be a gt350r. I though about building a road car but no where to use it around here so drag it was lol.Nice build! Must be a lot of fun. My Fox was a typical bolt ons 5.0, fun street car. My 13 is strictly a street car but building it for the twisties. Has bolt ons and tune then doing lots of suspension this winter. Still deciding on brake package for the spring.
Sorry, trust me I want to!God you're such a tease. But I understand not wanting to take the wrap off

It's going to be sitting for two to three weeks.
I'll take more once it's on the engine stand and the valve covers are on.

What are doing with the tranny and rear end? You'll probably be in the rwhp range to break axles / pinions and tear up stock transmissions, lol.

I have a built transmission and transfer case.
I also got some axles from Moser.
If the pinion goes I'll have to have something built.
I'll just have to wait and see how it does.
Going by what the high horse guys on facebook are breaking, the pinion appears to be the weak link, and you've got the axles already covered.Make sure you install a driveshaft loop if you don't have one.If the pinion breaks you'll be glad you have one to kind of miniumize the damage, lol. The 4X4 regular cab 8 speeds have a crossmember that's right behind the t-case that you can work with.I modded an old style /cheap Lakewood loop to bolt right to the crossmember on my little 8 speed shortbox 4X4.If you're running a big diameter custom driveshaft,it might not be big enough though

Yeah I have a 5" carbon fiber driveshaft on the way. I think I'd have to have something custom built.
Carbon fiber driveshafts are supposed to shred back into fibers if they break. It would still probably be a good idea though. Thanks for reminding me.I don't think my solution would work for you then, lol. But seriously you should look at having something built to contain the shaft. It can get really expensive in a hurry,if it or the pinion breaks and the shaft starts thrashing around,i speak from s'perience, lol
