Carbon fiber driveshafts are supposed to shred back into fibers if they break. It would still probably be a good idea though. Thanks for reminding me.
It'd be the pinion shearing off that'd worry me,they have a tendenancy to break at the front bearing,and that leaves a hell'va sized sledge hammer bolted to the end of the driveshaft,that'll hit one hell'va an rpm under the truck when it lets go,lol
As a kid i had a hot little 77 Ford regular cab shortbox ,showing off one night,i did a 4,000 rpm neautral drop,the pinion sheared off clean,by the time the driveshaft quit thrashing around,it'd tore out the inside frame gas tank,poked a hole in the box of the truck,and basically ripped the exhaust system out from under the truck,worst thing was the tank was right full of high octane fuel,and it knocked all the dust out from under the dash while doing it,stepping on the brakes and trying to slam the tranny into park,just made it angier lol
