Hello everyone

I just picked up 2 1500 crew cab long horns. This is now trucks 3 & 4. My previous 14 longhorn has a similar issue.

The issue is at normal Highway speeds (60-70mph) there comes an obnoxious whistling noise which sounds like it's coming from the passenger outside mirror. My '14 did almost the same exact thing and I ignored it for the 3 years of lease.

My question is does / has anyone had this issue? It's odd that only one is having this issue. Yet it is quite annoying that it continues into the MY16 vehicle.

I know "most" dealers are useless to help resolve these things. I had my current dealer tell me the rattling when the stereo is loud is due to it being maxed out. I laughed and said what is the resolution, they stated lower the radio. I insert eye roll here.

Any feedback is appreciated. I'll use some painters tape on the mirror this week to see if it is in fact the mirror. Could also be window trim.

Our '10 does this too. Not too bad though. I just live with it. The wife does not even notice

Have you investigated at all mark? I do like to just cruise with the radio off for the peace and quiet at times.

Aside from my mufflex muffler ;-) but that's music to my ears.

Have Flowmaster and play the radio loud most times. Haven't troubleshoot it. It's really minor. Weird drivers side doesn't do it though

It's like the quality control issues have gone to $h!t, but I'm thinking its a weatherstrip issue. How's the flow master?

I use both my rams for work and the mufflex on my one is bad @$$ especially pulling up to a job site.

Flowmaster 2 chamber is all I did. No headers, mid pipes or tips or other stuff I used to do when I was into mustangs. Cost like 150 otd. Love it. Just right at idle. Nice growl under acceleration. Yeah quality control is spotty. Just a thought, do you have that dreaded window molding distortion thing that I have? The vegas sun cooks that black molding piece and it gets tweaked where there isn't an attachment point. Maybe that is catching air. At least on mine
