Who's got the 8-speed and 8.4an?

Hey guys! I'm trying to get to the bottom of an issue I'm having...

I have a '13 CC with the 8-speed tranny and 8.4an radio with navigation. I do not see an option to turn the "ECO" light on through the radio settings. The option is called "Fuel Saver Display in Cluster", and it's accessed through the display settings of the radio. I've posted about this a couple times but really can't get a definitive answer because these trucks are equipped so many different ways. The dealer says it's not an option on my truck. I've had a few members tell me that that's BS because they have it on their truck. Part of the problem is that I updated my radio only a couple days after I got the truck so I'm not 100% sure the option to turn it on was there before I did the update.

Ram is telling me that I can't undo the radio update. That I should bring it into the dealer and they'll update it again and maybe the light will come on. I feel like I'm just getting the runaround.

So if you have the 8-speed tranny and 8.4an radio with navigation, and you haven't updated your radio. Could you please post a reply and let me know if your "ECO" comes on or if you have the "Fuel Saver Display in Cluster" option in your radio's display settings to turn it on.

My ECO light came on before and now after my Uconnect update. When I first got my Ram the ECO light didn't come on so I thought that Ram did away with it, the wife said no and went out and turned it on to prove me wrong, long story short, it's there but you have to search for it....

Mine has been on since I turned it on day one. I have updated it 2 times and it has stayed on through both updates. I will have to check tonight to see if the option is somewhere in there still.

I can confirm I no longer have the option. I hope I never want to turn it off!

I called Uconnect about it. Basically they said to me that if enough people call about it, then hopefully they'll include it in one of their next updates.

I too never had that option. From what I read one update eliminated the option to change your current setting. If it was on, it was stuck on. If it was off, you could not turn it on.

The latest update (mid December) brought it back. I updated mine this evening and that option showed up in the uconnect setting. 13.48.3 is the firmwear I installed.
