Come to the Baton Rouge area. We have red lights on our interstate on ramps. They are supposed to spread the flow of traffic out getting on the interstate but they dont. I either just run them b/c they are useless or use them as a drag strip

Here is a funny clip I found on youtube of someone driving through 1.

Our house is good, no water in it. Its still a mess around here. My drive to work is 35 miles 1 way & the entire drive to work there is trash on both sides of the road from flooded homes. We got 31" of rain in 2-3 days. We got more rain in that short time than Los Angeles has seen since Jan 2012. Houses that havent flooded since they were built in the early 1900's flooded this time around. The town of Denham Springs got water in 90% of the structures. Fema has so much red tape up its not even funny. Its all just a mess. I am very thankful that we didnt get water in the house. Alot of family & friends did & I have been helping gut & repair homes for the last few weeks. Some of the flood was man made due to the newly installed interstate barriers that were put up in the middle of the interstate along the newly widened I-12. The interstate barrier acted as a diversion canel & channeled water from the Amite River 6 miles in both directions East & West bound on interstate I-12

Never lived in LA, but visited many times. If I lived there, I'd weigh 400lbs.

I'm a Georgia boy. Work brought me here. I miss Georgia so much. The people here can't drive for ****!!! That's why this state is somewhere on the list of top 5 states with the highest insurance rates... bad drivers and uninsured drivers. I wish they would pass a law where if you are caught driving uninsured it's an automatic 30 days in jail. My rates literally doubled just by moving here.

Check out the "Italian Villa" if it's still there, was a house converted into a rest. with some of the best Italian food to be had. Great crawfish when in season in L.C. too.

Only problem, $1700 in tickets this year alone to keep the points off of my license.

I've heard that if you put on a foot print gas pedal it will not help your problem at all. It may actually make it worse.
