Good day everyone, I am fairly new here and this will be my first thread. I own a 2014 1500 SLT and after doing a exhaust manifold replacement I still had the tick and it was getting worse by the day. So I decided to do a lifter/ cam replacement. It has been a adventure to say the least, very daunting and intimidating but I am almost to the reinstall part. Looking at a thread talking about lifters and a bent rod I read that of his new lifters only 2 of the set could be easily compressed so I thought should mine? I searched Google and the first answer I got was "NO" so I read on and thought ok. I then scrolled down and seen another search worded slightly different than mine, I clicked it. The first answer on the search read "YES"! Both answers had sufficient information supporting their reasoning. Now I'm totally confused and wondering if they should or should not. And why in the world are there two completely opposite answers for the same question.

sooooo your lifters compress or no? you stopped the job right then and there for some hearsay on the internets? good lord son start by having some specs and tests to show us! right now nobody has a clue what you seen on google one time at your uncles cottage nor any desire to find out. present your question in a clear and concise format, you will get answers. good luck!
