Window issue

I have a good one for you:
Right now my rear passenger side window will not roll up. It is only half way down and it will continue to roll further down (I have tested this twice).

On a couple of occasions the driver's door has done the same, however when I open the door, it rolls back up. After closing the door the window again works in both directions.

Any suggestions on how to get the rear window up and what to do to keep all my windows in working order?

This is a 2002 SLT with the 4.7L.

Are the switches broken? When working in my panel I broke a switch. It let the back passenger roll it down. And then bam. No control. Had to dissemble the main control panel and the back switch and swap out some new ones from doners.

Don't think its the switch

I don't think it is the switch because I can still roll it down from either the driver's control or the back passenger's control.

I had almost the same problem with my window but it was my front passenger side. I replaced my master switch and all the windows work perfectly now.

That was my problem. The window would roll down, but the master switch was broken going up so it wouldn't let the window roll back up.

Is there a difference between a switch and a master switch? Is the master switch the same as the driver's door switch?

the master switch is the one with the four window controls(or 2 for us reg cabs.)
