perhaps I am mistaken but that seems about right for Canadian "free" Healthcare
Not to derail the purpose of this thread…at the hospital I work at (in the states) it’s about 3 months from the beginning of the process to surgery. The main variables are the general health of the patient.

Maybe that's the overview of what it takes to replace this reservoir. "Why Hurry"? We are all on this space ship called "Planet Earth"! Nobody is going t survive the trip! ;)

Doorman makes a replacement, though damn even they are not cheap. last I looked about $120 on amazon. I heard they leak at the seam many people have just put a layer of plastic weld on either the JB Weld plastic or other epoxy. or for a completely permanent solution true plastic welding. I have the same issue. and in my case at least it isn't the grommet of the sensor or the washer pump. I thought it might be I had a slow drip I reached up and wiggled both and looking at it the leak was running down from higher up, well my wiggling made it a fast leak. as to taking it out I hear 30 mins to do so take the fender liner out 2 or so bolts and pop of the hose and wiring and wiggle it out through the bottom/fender well.
I should have updated this. So I was going to take my washer tank out and see if I could patch it. I got it out and found that the thing that looks like a filter for the washer pump was very bad. I picked up a new one at the parts store and put it back together it works perfectly again.

Also, you may want to mark the orientation of the pump/ sensor when it comes out. When I did this on a GM Silverado, I didn’t clock it correctly and it constantly showed a low fluid light on the dash, but did work. Nothing like doing it all over again. Lesson learned

Pics next time would help those of us who are sometimes clueless.
Thanks for the info.

yeah, it seems there are few youtube video's about the washer bottle remove/replace for the cummins 2500/3500 trucks. but for the gas engine trucks there are several.

I was driving cross country before there were windshield washers. I used a spray bottle with water and rubbing alcohol. Reached out the driver's side and sprayed in front of the car - worked. In this situation, a bag as suggested, or a nested bottle in the cracked tank. The warning, annoying, but not a game changer.

Older than I ever thought I would be! Driving home from college in the early / mid '60's. Car was a '60 model. To boggle your mind, I can recall Dad installing safety / seat belts in a '59 that my Mother drove and the '60 as well!
