Hey all,

Before anyone says anything, buying an adapter is out of the question. Some ******** already cut the wires for the harness so I need to make do. I am installing an aftermarket radio, and sized the dash for the Double Din unit I'm putting in. Except the wire on the new harness for the 12V hot wire I'm putting in is thicker than the 12V hot wire coming into the stereo cavity. Will this be an issue? There is also a little white plastic thing on the new harness that is labeled [10A]

White thing, would be a fuse. as for the wire being thicker. No, shouldn't be an issue.

You can always go larger in wire size but you need to make sure you are fused for the smaller wire. Fuses are meant to protect the wiring from damage in the event of a malfunction.
