Wiring trouble please help

I need a wiring somatic for my 2019 Ram 2500 Bighorn 6.4 hemi 4x4. Shorted out a 12 volt contusion wire under the driver side dash. It’s a red looks to be about a number 10 wire. I have checked all the fuse that I can find and they all checked out ok. I can’t find nothing not working but I know this needs to be found and fixed if anyone has a clue on what I should do please let me know if you will.

You also posted in general discussion, did you try testing your fuses and the trailer plug? Would be helpful to know if you have eliminated those potential issues.

Yes that was the first thing I did.

Did you check it with a test light It may still be hot if the short was not enough to blow a fuse I would check that first you maybe chasing a ghost other wise

Yes I checked with test light and a multi meter for continuity. All checked ok. I have always been able to fix most anything myself this has stumped me. It was a hot wire till I grounded it with a end wrench as far as I can find everything is still working but the wire is dead.

Reckon it could have something to do with the anti locking break system the wire comes through the firewall into a lock plug then looks like it goes to wards the back underneath the front seat it all wrapped up in a wrap I can’t tell where it goes.

Appears to be the fused power for the inverter. Do you have AC power outlets? Check fuse F04 (50 amp).

I was going to use it for a SiriusXM radio it has to have a hot wire all the time and as I was skinning it off i grounded it out.

Kind of late, unsolicited advice, but always disconnect the battery before doing any work on wiring. This is especially important if you're working on any wires which may be hot, as you found out the hard way. Glad you figured it out.
