Hey all, going to order a couple of these Auxbeam cubes to install stealth mode into my grill. I have never installed aux lighting before but I imagine if desired to have these both on one independent switch that I can use a single universal Auxbeam wiring harness and split near the lights to connect to both considering each light is not much power themselves. So just wire up, connect to batt, where do you go through into cab for switch?

^ This.... wire loom makes it look clean, just route it in a smart place and use small zip ties or velcro type tires... If you end up cutting any wires, solder them back together and use some heat shrink over them... or you can use the butt-connectors with built in heat shrink. and good to go...

Take off the clutch delete plate, drill a hole, insert rubber garment, then run a loom that fits nice and snug.

^Yea much appreciated for the posting of this idea :)

I was happy to find some lights with black/darker color lenses/covering/fish eyes/whatever. I plan to install these somewhere in my grill. Easiest would to be mount on top of bumper up against grill but I am going to see what I can come up with in cutting out little sections to have them flush with the grill inserts. Maybe in the corners up against the center vertical cross bar of the grill...

Where do the wires spit out on the interior side, I would guess right by where the clutch normally would be. I am not the best wrencher around so I always like to ask before I start drilling. This seems to be the best spot to run the wires for the switch for my bumper mounted light bar. Thanks!

Well I am undecided on where to mount these two cubes...

Originally I was planning on cutting out little squares of the grill inserts and flushing them there and still prob will. How hard is it to cut chrome?

If I were you, I'd mount them behind the grill. You'll probably have more options there, and you don't have to cut up your grill.

Just look under the dash, you will see it pretty clearly.
It couldn't be a better spot to run wires. lol

I mounted two cubes behind my grill. I ran my wires through the clutch plate into the dash below the steering wheel and installed some permanent switches. Not hard at all just make sure you're happy with where you mount everything
