^^ Its was the the way my friends chose to go about it. The bumper has so many different lines and angles work on a flat table starting out would have been difficult. Once it was tacked, measurements were taken and pieces of angle were tacked on the backside to keep things square and to keep lines straight. All this was done on a table. I have some pics of this I will post up. Like I mentioned earlier I dont weld. I had to just go along with the way my friends thought best. I can say that I feel like more time and effort was spent getting it right than the manufacturer would have put into it! lol Right or wrong we get an A for effort.

Still getting some pics uploaded. Finished all the welding Sunday. Worked on the grinding monday and tuesday and got them to the powder coater yesterday evening. The back bumper went great. Far easier than the front. Added a few gussets to the front tow hooks. They just didnt look braced enough if some serious pull was placed on them. Also put some expanded metal over the light holes for a different look. my friend and I had aprrox. 6 hrs combined in grinding. We went a little overkill and had then looking like a shiny new penny when done. Im sure the powder coating would have hid alot of the stuff we picked at for the last hour. Also added a knee plate on the front bumper. Nothing was included for it. Working under the hood would be a pain with nowhere to kneel on. Not sure if that piece was supposed to be in the kit and forgot or they leave that open for a large winch to come up through.

Thanks man. Does your front bumper have a knee plate in the center below the grille or is it open? Just wondering if I got shorted a piece or they go out that way.

Don't get me wrong, I'd give you an A any day of the week and twice on sunday!! The part about friends and going along with their ideas, completely understandable.
Having good friends and skilled ones at that is priceless. Those must be some good guys to take on a project like this and see it through to the end.

In the end, it doesn't matter how you got it done... it's that you got it done and it looks awesome!!

I'm impressed and looking forward to further developments. Good Luck!

Picked up the bumpers yesterday. Got them both on today. They fit great. Only problem is my truck has the brake light on the tailgate and it touches the bumper when its down. Im sure they didnt have duallys in mind when they designed these. The only way to make it clear is drop the bumper lower but that looks like a$$ so I am planning on shortening the tailgate cables about a 1/2". The light is barely touching so this should take care of it.

looks incredible. i cant get over how good those rear bumpers look. i really want one now.

you should trim your front wheel wells now so the plastic doesnt hang below the front bumpers

maybe you could sand down the dually lights, and then nightshade over, just thinking out loud lol
