Well I got the leveling kit installed and now I'm looking to soften the ride a little. The truck seems to drive great but I'm thinking I should get longer shocks. Any suggestions?

You need OEM length shocks. If you were gonna replace the shocks, you should have just went with Bilstiens which feature adjustable spring preload. You could still install the Bilstiens and sell your leveling kit.

And these will work for a 1500? Because there isn't much out there for 2wd 1500s.

Yea man. Bilstein monotube shocks are a huge improvement over any twin tube shock! Plus with the added 2" travel your ride will greatly increase!
