so i came back from a work trip which took a week, came home and hoped in my truck to run some personal errands, and nothing. No power at all, no turn over, no lights, no nothing. The thing is I have a two battery set up which is kinda weird since I have a 5.9 V8 and not a cummings. So the first thought in my head, Okay pull the battery that is the engine, starter and igition and get it tested. Which I did, and sure enough the battery was dead. So I got a new battery, installed it, and NOTHING. i then checked all the fuses in the engine box and inside the dash. I even checked the inline fuse that is right off the battery. I am going to get new terminals tomorrow to see if that is it. Other than that I am completely drawing a plank. any ideas?

well i tested my other battery and that was also dead, so i replaced that battery and it turned over, but now my dome light, dash lights, radio, locks and windows dont work. i checked the IOD fuse and it still good. But the thing is since it was my "accessory" battery it was a marine deep charge battery, the guy who sold me the battery said that i really didnt need that kind of battery, so he gave me a normal battery. I dont know if that will cause that problem or not, but the good thing is that my truck is running and the A/C works.

so after close inspection of all the fuses, i accidentally put a fuse in the engine box in the wrong spot, so i put it back in the right spot and now everything works just fine and dandy now. but now i know that if one battery goes out, i have to replace both, since both battery work in tandem with each other.
