I don't know anybody suggested it will handle differently. The fenders are part of the body, so not sure what you're saying there.

If the width matters depends on what you're doing. If you're in wide open spaces on the highway all the time, whatever. Trails, width can matter or *really* matter. Tighter parking spaces, etc. as well.

Yea exactly, it's mostly parking will be a little more difficult with the width or the rho and trx. Sometimes I have meetings and the lots can be tight occasionally. I feel i can make it work with the base 1500 body / my parking skills / and the additional tech that helps (cameras) the trx and rho would just make it a little more difficult and really no need for the extra speed. I have had supercharged corvetes and 1,000hp GTR's so I am more than content with the base power in either a 5.7 hemi ram or new hurricane.

I test drove a Raptor and the width was a turn off for me. Not that my PW is svelte, mind you. If I lived in the wide open southwest, that'd be one thing, but I don't.

Same, what do you think of the length of your PW with parking? Assuming it's just something you get use to and eventually is 2nd nature? I basically read just back in and take your time lol

Well, you have to accept there are places you simply don't fit, same as with height. We've had to ditch a restaurant on the outskirts of Nashville if we're in the truck because they have a one way horseshoe shaped parking lot and even if I Austin Powers turn it, I'm not fitting. Some parking garages you'll need to pay for an oversized vehicle spot due to both height and length. Parallel parking is obviously more limited. It's not like dually bothersome, but it's noticeable.

For regular parking lots I just park further out and pull through if possible. If not, I still go nose in most of the time. Backing out is easy since the height means you can see over what's parked around you typically, but if not there's cross path detection on my truck.

Having the 360 cameras actually decreased the learning curve quite a bit, using them as a crutch when I first got it to figure out how much to swing out to get it in the lines on the first go kind of stuff. It's intuitive now.

Good advice, thanks!
