Has anyone ever deleted the y pipe and muffler by running true duals with a x pipe in place of the muffler? I have a muffler delete now and it is borderline too loud for me at decent throttle.

You could get a dual in dual out muffler, there isn't much room for 'muffler' with the X pipe inside it, but it should calm it down just a touch.

Might give you the desired end result.

I meant put a x pipe in place of where the muffler is.

Im not sure what the guy above is talking about.... there is plenty of room to put a TruX muffler in place of the factory muffler.
I had one on my 11 and now on my 12

Josh, I think what he is saying is there's not much room left over in the muffler case for muffling material with the x-pipe in there as well.

I wasn't talking about a x pipe muffler, just a x pipe by itself. I've never seen a x pipe muffler before. Fasthemiram12, any clips of what your truck sounds like?
