This lift will hopefully be ordered soon, and I have a few questions.

Is a 35 inch tire the norm with this lift or does it leave you with stupid amounts of extra room in the fenders?

How much wheel back spacing do I need for clearance of the spindle with a 35/12.50 tire?

Also how wide of a wheel do you recommend?

Some shared pictures would be fantastic!

35s would look too small. Most guys throw 37s on 6 inch lifts. I dont know about the other two though...

I think with the 2wd lift 35's is as big as you can go without adding a body lift.
37's scrubbed on my truck with 9" of suspension..... (rcx 2wd with spacers)

On the cst website it shows pics of trucks with 35s on a 6 and 7 inch lift, but everybodys pictures seem to differ and people say yes 35s with the 7 inch and then no they will be too small.

I don't want to run larger than 35s but I'd rather have the 7 inch lift because it comes with a new spring vs using a spring spacer with the 6 inch kit

I did a lot of research on this and I spoke to a few different places and the majority of them tried to sway me to the 6'' vs the 7''. They say the spacer works better and rides better than the spring on the 7'' kit. To each their own for sure! And I don't think 35s would look small at all. I am running 33s with a 2'' lift and I would like a litttle more room in between the top of the fender and the top of the tire. I have a 3'' BL that I'm planning on installing whenever it's not 9000 degrees outside, and eventually I'll put on the 4'' spindles and the 3'' kit that CST offers for our trucks. At that point I might rock 37s, but more than likely I'll be running 35s

The 7inch has 2 options. It comes with a new spring if you have the 4.7L v8. It comes with a 3 inch coil spring spacer if you have the Hemi.

This is the kit I plan on getting once I can afford it.
I will be running 20x10 -18mm offset 4.79" backspaced wheels on 35x12.5x20 tires.

Since I've got a '12, I'm sticking with 35s because there is no programming for our trucks yet. And no gears.

I have a 6" lift on 35" tires and it looks like if I would've gone with 37" tires it would've rubbed for sure when I turn the wheel

I don't want to go bigger, I just want the right amount of lift for a 35 inch tire

Thank you for your post. Would you happen to have any pictures? Is yours 2 or 4wd?

Do you have 5100s in the front set to add more lift or is it just a 6 inch kit?
