Do I leave them off or put them back on?

Steps or black trim on B pillars?

Either way leave it off.

I must be losing it. I have no idea what you're referring to. I don't see steps or trim on the pillars....

Update....DUH...It's been pointed out the black vinyl trim was removed from the pillars. I never would've noticed - thought maybe it was a trim-level thing.

I always thought our trucks looked so much better with the vinyl on the pillars.

I know they wrinkle on just about every truck.....but I’d hafta replace with a nice gloss black vinyl as a fix.

Looks “cheaper” without the blackout look.

If you need to ever go back to black I would go for black paint, not the wrinkly vinyl
Easier method might be to just have a good local vinyl company to throw some gloss black vinyl on the pillars. Probably wouldn’t cost much...

That might work,I know the factory stuff wrinkles up tho. I had a mazda b3000 once with the vinyl on the door frames and surrounded by chrome trim.I had the body shop remove the vinyl as it looked a little chalky colored black anyway and paint it gloss black body color. It was so much nicer.I could wax it and not have a faded color as before.

I liked it off on my 2012 and I like it on my 2015 sport because of the tinted windows

I think it actually doesn't look bad off on the white.
