Also. Remember...RAM can make this kind of power NA as well...Mopar still sells V10s...and they can be supercharged too.
Also...the 6.2l has been dynod to 1100 horse power...it just can not meet emissions.
They can always do what they did with the Demon...and offer the crate...Mopar is not worried.
I understand it’s different manufacturers, different manufacturing techniques among a whole bunch of other different variables but it just always seems to me that in order for Mopar to make something high horsepower they have to have a really large engine to do it.
You know, just like how with the 395hp 5.7 L V-8 that’s in most of our Rams here; they just really seem like they could go much higher on the horsepower than 395. And then when you talk about the 392 hemi that’s in the heavy duty trucks; I mean, 20 hp difference between basically a 350 and a 400 is all they can do? But if you’re saying they do have a lot of wiggle room to go then I guess I could be OK with that.
I mean, I guess after all, Hennessy performance was able to take that trackhawk and turn it into 1000 hp monster.
