Only reason mine are soo low only after about 30k is because like an idiot I decided to burn em off when they were still semi new. Soooooo now I have to pay. oh well.

I like the design of the new Mickey thompsons but not the 1k pricetag.

Hmmmm really likeing the khumo and the duratracs. But I'm still kinda iffy on if I can tuck the 35's at full lock with only a level. I may back down to a 33 so I still have some articulation and some room. What do you all think??? 35's with a 2.5" level?? Or 33's??

I went with the Kumho AT's when I got new ones. They're not very aggressive looking but they handle mud, sand, and the little snow we get perfectly. Plus, I know a lot of guys that have gotten 40k plus out of them. And with as little as I drive, I'll have to replace them because of age before wear lol

With my 35x12.5's I would rub on the UCA's right before I hit full lock either way. A 10.5" wide tire didn't rub at all. Are you getting new wheels too or just putting them on the factory wheels?

If you want, I can post up some pics of mine to give you an idea what the size will look like and how much room you've got in the wheel well

Mark they are going on the stock wheels. Can't afford a huge bill right now. So far its 1200 just to have the duratracs sent to my door.

Damn... That's more than I paid for my wheels and tires total lol

35's will fill the wheel well pretty good IMO

The only issue I have with rubbing now is when I'm backing up a fairly steep incline and turn my wheel more than a whole turn either way. A little trimming of the wheel well liner would take care of that

When I had these tires on my factory wheels, I'd rub on my upper control arm right before it was at full lock. Articulating the suspension didn't change this much on either side. In the picture, you can see the dark spot to the right of center where they would rub. I've got a buddy with a set of 35x10.5 buckshots that I mounted on my truck and I couldn't get them to rub at all

Helped a friend move this weekend and her uncle had this truck. 01 off road, no level or lift, 35" Firestone Destination M/Ts says rubs at full lock. I really liked the look of them he has had them for 4 years and they had plenty of tread left, and I think its his daily driver
I think they might be my next set, rather than doing 20s

Well just stopped by a couple tire shops and they keep trying to sway me from the duratrac to the bfg at. So those of you that run the bff what do you think? Good mud and snow tire? I wanted an aggressive mt but if the bfg will do I may get those cause they are cheeper.

I know these are AT's, but I've had really good luck with my Terra Grapplers. 26k on them and they are just now showing a bit of wear. Granted I don't go in the mud but they are great on snow and wet.

i think the bfg at's will always be a good choice. I heard they have some issues in mud, but then again they are not mud tires. They sure as hell should last a ton of miles compared to other tires.

I can agree the duratracs are awesome in mud and snow. But the tire shops don't like them for some reason

Well I have it narrowed down to the duratracs and the bfg. Still up in the air on size. I am leaning to a 33" because I wanna keep some flex and only have a 2.5 lift. So I think im gonna compare prices and get a final idea. Gonna be a birthday present to myself. Lol

Just pass on BFG... Personally, I say look at hankook Dynapro ATM they are a good all terrain and they are quiet as can be. I know I had over 50,000 miles on my 97 with the dynamic radials. They were a ten ply though.
