so whats happening with these manifold bolts? Breaking or rattling loose and falling out?
Did you notice any sound or noise when it happened? reason I ask, I was backing last night at my shop and heard a loud "pop" as I was backing up ( and had the wheel turned). I thought i hit something, but then realized that there is nothing in my driveway to hit. I had no idea what it was, thought it sounded like a somebody shot a BB or somthing at my window. Almost reminded me of catching a rock while on the highway too.....
I looked all over ( inside and out ) and see nothing on the body of the truck, nothing broken inside, outside or under my truck, that I can find anyway.
I did think the manifold bolts ( since this seems like an ongoing issue with these trucks ), but I heard no noise like you said. The engine was warm though.......
Now I have to check mine. I have been noticing how loud my truck has been since its getting colder again. I hope my 2010 isn't a nightmare getting busted, rusting bolts out of it.
How well did the busted bolts come out?
You'd have to ask the dealership that... I couldn't get them out with vice grips and didn't have a replacement bolt so I didn't even attempt any further. I'm going to let them deal with it since it's under warranty
Rear diff oil change, engine oil change, "recharged" Vararam intake, removed lower "air dam" on front bumper (=more ground clearance), bought new tools and installed Bilstein 5100s (set at 2.8) on my 14 Express 1500 4x4.
I plasti dipped my front grill for a change... It's growing on me!
My 3" PA Body lift arrived in the mail today... My 1.5" Rear Coil Spacers should be here by Friday... And My new Colour Matched Upper Bumper cover will be arriving next week...
Black Friday Treats in full effect! I'll be posting updates as I go

I had a local body shop install a color matched bumper valance on my Tradesman as well. It was one thing that I simply had to have on my truck. It ran me $422 for the part the paint and the install. Makes the truck look like an SLT for a fraction of the upgraded trim price.
