They are nice lights and seem to cast well. So far I don't think it's an issue with year of truck. Anyone have the fluxbeams and the 8.4 with interference or no interference on 8.4?. I've been pretty prone to bad luck with vehicle mods. Change one thing and something else pops up.

2016 with 8.4 I have the fluxbeam x in aftermarket Anzo's. No radio interference.

now I took the Fluxbeam X headlights (9005) and put them in mt '08 Saturn Astra which does have projectors, no static, they are very blue in color, and not very impressive output

but the Fluxbeam LED fogs (H10/9145) I have in my PW, the output is great (actually too much upward output) but the static is bad, but gets less the longer they are on

the HID's I got from the Auto LED guy on facebook are awesome! :D

I'm pretty sure all he has is a Facebook page, so without Facebook I don't think you can get to him.

This is interesting. I had the Opt7 fluxbeam in my 2014 Sport's fogs and I did not have any radio interference.

Finally got my Fluxbeam X's installed last week and haven't had a chance to actually use them until last night. Since there are those who love them and those who returned them, Ill give you my impression of them according to my needs and driving conditions.

1- I have mainly 2 ways to drive the 30 miles to work, A) entirely 100% open highway or B) 90% wooded and windy 2 lane road (a lot more interesting) with the last stretch being open highway.

2- I have the quad reflector housing and wanted some better lighting out the front of the truck, keeping in mind "better" is subjective.

3- I did a decent amount of research on new headlights comparing costs, types, output, longevity, and a bunch of testimonials. Already knew I didn't want to buy the Ultra High Pure Epic Crystal etc incandescent replacements for a number of reasons. So I'm between HIDs and LEDs.

So after figuring all of that out, I went with the Fluxbeam X's. The cost of the LEDs were $110 before sales and free shipping which I can simply drop in the stock housing - the cost of getting an entire HID with projectors upgrade would be $800+, for a good set. I just don't have that kind of money to spend on headlights right now.

Now keep in mind that my driving conditions may be different than yours, but I am completely satisfied with my Fluxbeam X's. I understand that LEDs in reflector housings may not project as much light a 1/4 mile down the road as the HIDs in projectors but that's not what I was looking for. 90% of my driving happens during daylight hours to and from work. On the highway there are ALWAYS other vehicles traveling the same direction I'm going and I always take into consideration their reactions to turns, obstacles, cops, etc when I'm driving behind them. So for distance I use other drivers as kind of a precursor for that. "What if there are no other cars on the road?" you might ask.... Well that's what my light bar is going to be for. (Soon to be purchased) Now if I take the wooded and windy road to work, which I do about half of the time, you cant see further than 1/4 of a mile anyways and there are only 2 sections that someone could get above 55 mph for a very short distance. So these LEDs fit the bill perfectly.

All in all I spent at least 88% less for an LED headlight upgrade over the cost of a HID upgrade kit, and I am very happy with it.

I was extremely happy with my FluxBeam-X H11 low beam LED's in my quad headlights. The output, distance, width and cut off was just simply amazing for only a $110 led bulb. In the end, with the 24hr christmas sale, plus a promo code, plus 15% off because they were not in srock i ended up only having to pay $63 for my h11 fluxbeam-x led's.

If i hadnt included those led's in the custom retroshop lights i had sold, i would be using them now but im also about to open up my quads and retrofit them so i wouldnt be able to use the led's anyway.

I highly recommend these led's to anyone looking for better lighting but doesnt have the skills or money for a retrofit.

And u didn't have any issues with radio interference??? I would really like to continue using mine but it's hard to swallow with almost complete radio failure after install.

Has anyone had to install new drivers from opt7 to get functional lights??

Honestly I forgot to test it. I never, and I do mean never, listen to the radio. Its either bluetooth from my phone or the wind. Ill check it out in the morning though.
