EXACTLY!!!!!!!Well put. It’s funny because I drive a Ram express and let me tell ya that’s about as basic as it gets LOL. And my wife has an Infiniti suv and it’s got all that stuff and than some. It’s annoying as all hell and constantly beeping and blinking random lights. I find it actually distracts me. I notice myself looking at the info centre to see what the hell its warning me about this actually looking at whatever obstacle it’s telling me about.
How’s that’s safer? When in a vehicle someone hears a beep or warning the first thing they ALWAYS do is look at the info centre or dash. Duh!!

I wish these idiot manufacturers would stop advertising that it is "ok" to be distracted. That is the first thing I thought of when I first saw this add. It is also the reason I put an extremely loud air horn on my motorcycle. (I've gotten to use it a few times unfortunately.... but at least I'm 90% certain the receivers of said air horn needed to change their panties)
I agree 100%... I'm for the safety, hell, i never touch my phone when behind the wheel and have found myself distracted I'm certainly not perfect. the commercials essentially say "do whatever you want behind the wheel, we will take it from here" until it fails that is lolMine too.
Ok so, yeah, they’re might..... I said might.... be some shred of good in all this safety stuff considering that no matter what we do, we’re always gonna have distracted driving. It’s an epidemic that’s been around for years and years, and will probably never ever go away but to, like you said, advertise it like it’s ok, that’s what’s making it worse and sure as hell not helping to reduce it.

Didn't happen today but I changed my rear diff fluid after completing the 500 mile break-in for the 4.56 swap. Did it in an Advance Auto parking lot lmao
4 quarts of 75w-140 Royal Purple and 4oz of Mopar LSD additive
Lots of metal and nastiness in there but nothing that isn't expected with new gears.
