Here's what's going on, I have a 2018 2500 6.4L trade. My tpms sensors that came with the truck are in my aftermarket wheels with 35's I picked up a used set of oem 20's. They didn't have the sensors in them. I ran them for about 3 months before buying new tires and adding oem sensors. Within 2 weeks I think ~100-150 miles of running without sensors the service tpms system message came up. I've gone about 35-40 miles and the new sensors haven't been "learned" yet. My question is if I unhooked the battery would it reset the system and maybe they would be learned by the system? Or is there a inexpensive tool that allows you to program the sensors in. I'd like to avoid having to go to the dealer each time I changed my wheels if they won't relearn themselves.
