Been knocking around the idea of finding some black sport rims, my son says plastic dip mine, but not sure that would be my thing. Also I live on a dirt road so they won't stay shiny, my rims don't show the dirt too bad, any thoughts? I don't want to do after market, love the 2019 Rebel rims, but the are 6 lug and 18's.

Looking to get mine black as well. Gonna try a gloss black plastidip. Figured that if I hate it, easily just take it off. If I love it, I'll get them powder coated down the road.

Not sure which rims you're referring to, but have you considered the black plastic covers they sell on ebay?

i haven't tried it yet, but getsuperwrap.com says their spray (equivalent to plastidip) is glossy. Looks like paint when it's applied...

A local body shop quoted me at $80 per wheel to powder coat... Might be worth asking around your area.

I swapped out my Sport wheels for the same but Black. I think the truck (white) looks better with them black.

If you can park the truck for a a week or so I personally would just remove your current wheels and have them powdercoated matte or gloss black. Shouldn’t cost you more then $600 or so I imagine.

I saw that set on Ebay JB1, really like those but too much $$$ I think.I won't plastic dip them I'm too ocd. Leaving my truck with no wheels for a week to powder coat is not an option for me.I really think my sport will look better with black plus black emblems, this is the set on my truck now.rjhQryi.jpg

At $80 a wheel to powder coat....that’s not bad at all! I would power coat now and be done with it or buy OEM.

Yea, the price isn't bad, but have no other wheels while being done.

First thing I would do is check local craigslist or similar as the black ones sell for about the same price as the polished ones and the cheapest way to do it is buy a black set and sell your polished ones.

Already on it, what's a fair price for a set of OEM black ones?

Depends on the area. I find them in 5-800cdn range around here without tires. More in the 1200 with newer rubber. Next province over a bit cheaper as well as just across the border in washington state.I've seen them as cheap as 400, but those were gone fast.
