It might be ok in some states but most states have laws on it. Oregon is rear window and back passenger windows any darkness. Front driver and passenger is 35% darkness and windshield only the top 6in can be 35% non reflective tint

If you don't mind me asking where in AZ are you? I'm also in AZ and I think I might do this too. If your tint guy is nearby I might go with him if not I'll stick with my usual tint guy
All windows are done with 20% - of course rears are darker since they are 'smoked'.. but I found 20% to be perfect for me. I sometimes wonder if I should have done 5% on the back window.. but it looks great.
Ran into this issue with the current setup i have, but the guy that did my 2012, i had zero issues with the film he used. I think he used Sun-TekI would think there would be distortion with the tint film and driving at night with the equivalent of sunglasses on doesn't work for me.
