Hahaha no, I bought it from a guy on here that bought it new and then sold his truck about a month later. It came in the original box and looked brand new when I got it.

It’s not just designed for the sport hood and I bought mine for $150 bucks so I really doubt there is a better CAI for the 3.6 for that price.

explain to me how that even remotely works.......1 doesnt look like you have the sport hood to get the full benefit of the CAI and 2 you dont have the top cover off to get more air in there

it is designed for the sport hood, reason why they put the cap on top off the box. it seals just like the vararam........i know i have one. just to me it doesnt look like theres any benefit what so ever without the sport hood and for price wise theres alot better units out

Like I said, it works without the sport hood also.... and there aren't a lot of CAI's out there for what I spent on mine that don't just suck in hot engine bay air.

The air box is the same place no matter if you have this one or the stock air box and they are in the same exact spot no matter if you have a 3.6 or 5.7. They didn't "get lucky" engineering it, they just made an adapter that allows you to use it with the sport hood.

And like I said in the beginning, if the Ram is like the Challenger it is a bigger waste of money to get the sport hood adapter cuz the air flow from the hood scoops sucks!!!!

Actually, no, I still think you got PWNED but I could also see that you were holding your ground and had no intention on admitting anything you implied or maning up and admitting you could have been wrong. And for that, I thought it would be better to drop it because your profile info says you have a HEMI and you have no real stake in this.

good god man, i googled it and i came up with more then 10 of them........like i said you cant fix stupid. just cause you put 2018 into search doesnt mean there isnt other options. just an FYI other year models work on a 2018. and seriously do you really think one is even gonna be better then the other for a 3.6. just buy the box and filter and make the rest yourself
