Seems like a safety issue to me, why on earth do you need to go over 108mph. 1/4mile times on a track legally are made with acceleration.

I'm actually interested in lowering the speed, but figured i would be more likely to get an answer about raising it.

I saw someone on Facebook say you can raise or remove the Speed Governor through AlfaOBD.
Is there any truth to this? I thought it could only be done through a tune.

You can not raise the speed limiter with Alfa, I have tried.

Ok, I have been reading through this for a couple days trying to remedy the issue I am having. I could not find any where that someone is having the same issue but i thought i would ask incase there was, or someone has solution. I apologize in advance if this has been addressed and fixed but 855 pages of this are alot to read through.

I have a 2015 Ram 2500 with the OEM backup camera on the 8.4 screen. When i use Alfa to turn on the Cargo camera that was added it will add the soft key on the radio screen but when i push this it shows the back-up camera. There is no option for me to push to switch between the Cargo and Back-up camera as i have seen others post. Also when this is on and i put the truck into reverse it will not activate the camera i have to push the cargo camera button to use the back-up camera. The back-up camera is OEM from the factory and the Cargo camera added OEM.

What I think you have going on is the trucks that came from the factory with the cargo cam from 2013 to 2015 had the actual backup camera in the rearview mirror. The 2016 and up trucks had both images in the radio screen and have the soft key to switch between the two cameras on the screen. Unless your radio has the 17-11-07 firmware which had a glitch that allowed the backup camera to show in the radio screen. By enabling the cargo CSM code the backup camera will automatically try to show on the rear view mirror. The only way I am aware of to correct using the OEM wiring and parts is to have the 17-11-07 firmware in the radio or install a 16 or 17 radio that will automatically have firmware that is capable of showing both images on the radio screen. My truck is a 14 but my radio is out of a 16. My cargo cam and backup camera both show up on the radio and I have the option to switch back and forth. If your radio has already been updated to a firmware version higher than 17-11-07 I don't believe it's possible to re install a lower firmware version.

Yea, current version is 17-43-01, hopefully there is a work around to get this to work properly. I guess it is time to start researching a way to possibly revert back to the 17-11-07 firmware. Otherwise I will soon have a OEM Cargo Cam forsale.

NavRepair won't or can't roll back the radio to an earlier version. United Radio out of New York may be able to so.

One of the PAC camera interface modules may work or possibly one of @customtronix new Enigma or Enzo jailbreak modules may work with your 2015 radio but you'd need to contact them to verify and check/download the instruction manual.

M² Mods.

Does anyone know if the 16 2500s cam pre-wired for the overhead with the garage door openers or do you have to have some special modules?

20190918_202043.jpg Not sure where to go. I've used AlfaOBD successfully to program the trailer present and lighting for my 2017 Dodge Durango (WD) and I shared this setup on this forum.

I've been trying to program a new FOB for this truck but AlfaOBD keeps saying "Failed. Requested service is not supported by the unit."

I've sent diagnostic files thru the AlfaOBD app service since May but I've received no response. I suspect AlfaOBD is not communicating properly with the Durango (WD) hub.

It will connect to my 2012 Charger for FOB programming.

Any ideas?

Did you try it under “program ignition fobiks”? Not highline or baseline.

Pre-wired yes but you'll need to buy the Homelink module.
I got mine used on ebay.

Yes I've tried all the possible Program FOBIK feature selections and they all respond the same way.

Also did it with Start/Stop in Off, ACC and Run each time the same message response.

It does read the number of FOBs programmed to the RFHub as 2.

Program ignition fobik is definitely the one that would be used on a WD vehicle. I would turn on debugging, try again, and send the debug log with a message. Try to catch him between 8-9 in the morning.

eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/401677911158

I bought the entire (used) overhead console with Homelink for a $115. so if you shop around you can get a better price. That link above is for a brand new one.

And I did not need to use Alfaobd to enable anything. it just worked right off the bat

Yes if your truck came with the overhead console your truck is pre wired for the Homelink and the correct CV2 sales code for the (electric overhead module) will be present. All you will need to do is plug it in. If your truck did not come with the overhead console you will need to add the correct wiring and enable the code.

Most guys just put a piece of electrical tape over the little LED light if it bothers them. You can also just disconnect it when you have the console down to install the Homelink.
