Don't be confused why so many of us are in naked butt love with rp/amsoil ea filters, look at the screen in pleats and media right next to wix xp, as it turns out srt filters have no screen and are likely just paper. I've seen the cutaway's that show different, but a dodge dealer just cut one open a few weeks ago.

Makes me re-think my SRT filter choice a little....I have a new RP 20-820 that I can try next, I guess.

There definitely is conflicting info on srt filters, this was 3 months ago, but there are cutaways that showed srt as synthetic media. Is there 2 different srt filters? The dodge viper filter is paper according to everything I've seen, is that different then the srt filter? Without a group of Ram members cutting their filters open to verify, we just are in limbo. You may think you bought a spun microglass, but it might just be paper.

With some of the issues facing RP filters, don't forget thier clone filter is still out there as well and I haven't heard anything about amsoil ea having issues. Two less entry holes other then that look identical to RP.

But, at some point the forum was believing it was spun microglass because of a cutaway that seams to be fake news. Many guys here are running srt filters, we need like 5 of them to cut them open like we had with the RP filters to get some modern info on it.

I just put SRT filter on my truck over the weekend. I'll cut it open in the fall[emoji106]

I think my buddy just bought one for his 6.4. I'll at least try to get the info off of the box. Won't solve the mystery, but we can see if that info changed. It will be for his first change, so it will be the OEM filter coming off.

Senate passed aid bill that gives us all relief and stimulus 96 to zero, couple senators didn't vote as they were isolated. They might have added debt, but basically also gave you a large portion of that debt in CASH. 2400 for married, 1200 for single, 500 per kid. It will hard to believe this wont pass the house as is. All in all, the pork is reasonable imo. The institutions helped by the pork like the kennedy center has been closed down as well. Usually I hate spending bills, but I like this one, for once I'm included.

Well my state, MI, just got locked down. Governor said in a news conference yesterday that she was not even considering shelter in place and 11 am today she shut it down. So she got pressure or something happened we don’t know about.

Was handed how to file unemployment from my work 10 minutes ago which was fun. I’m the type of personality that I work. Even when I shouldn’t I work. I’ve got a wife and 3 kids to care for and now I’m freaking out. Hopefully it’s not as bad as my imagination takes me and it ends up for the better.
