34 here and snow ranging from an 1-4 inches in the areaSorry to hear that Travis. 68 degrees here now, forecast is sunny around 80 today. Have a great day!
We moved from New England to Florida 4.5 years ago. Been there, done that. But it's hot and humid in the summer here and can drop into the 40's in the winter. But no snow or ice. So it's a trade-off. Hope you have a mild winter.34 here and snow ranging from an 1-4 inches in the area

Well,
7.75qts of Redline 5W30 and a RP20-820 is in the 6.4.
Ill keep ya posted
May do a UOA in the spring on this run. Want to put a new air filter in it too for a clean slate. Almost 45,000 on the truck so its a great time for a UOA.

I bet it'll like it better on those cold winter mornings as well
Last fall she was FFed. Got caught with pants down this yearThat SUCKS man[emoji17]
Just give it a thorough washing under there and get some FF on there when you get a chance.
Has it had FF before or is this going to be the first time?
Well that's good at least there's some FF on there from last yearLast fall she was FFed. Got caught with pants down this year
Im honestly curious how long it lasts in my area. The salt shakers are out every day all winter longWell that's good at least there's some FF on there from last year
Same here. If there's 3 flurries in the air, they're out spreading satan's crystals and/or brine just it case it might possibly get slick for .0002 seconds and people would actually have to slow down in inclement weather...Im honestly curious how long it lasts in my area. Only time they dont salt in my area is if its below 0. Wish it was below zero all winterSame here. I know i know but it keeps the salt shakers off the road lolOkay, THAT might be a bit much.......
5/30??? I thought you were running 5-40 and getting good results. Or,,,,are using 5/30 as your winter cold choice? FitzWell,

With only 20k miles on our 2500, I have thought about doing the same for Oct-April. BTW replaced the Firestone Transforce 275/70 tires at 21k with Michelin Defender 285/65. Lowered the TPMS values to 30 F 40 B and set tire pressure at 40 F 50 B for around town. Big difference in ride and handling. FitzTrying it as a winter oil because it flows so much better when cold.
So far so good. Did 2 loads of wood Saturday night and worked the truck hard. Still a quiet engine
