34 here and snow ranging from an 1-4 inches in the area
We moved from New England to Florida 4.5 years ago. Been there, done that. But it's hot and humid in the summer here and can drop into the 40's in the winter. But no snow or ice. So it's a trade-off. Hope you have a mild winter.

That SUCKS man[emoji17]

Just give it a thorough washing under there and get some FF on there when you get a chance.

Has it had FF before or is this going to be the first time?

Well,

7.75qts of Redline 5W30 and a RP20-820 is in the 6.4.

Ill keep ya posted

May do a UOA in the spring on this run. Want to put a new air filter in it too for a clean slate. Almost 45,000 on the truck so its a great time for a UOA.

Well. Been 5 days and over 300 miles since this and the 6.4 sounds the same.

Im honestly curious how long it lasts in my area. The salt shakers are out every day all winter long
Same here. If there's 3 flurries in the air, they're out spreading satan's crystals and/or brine just it case it might possibly get slick for .0002 seconds and people would actually have to slow down in inclement weather...

Trying it as a winter oil because it flows so much better when cold.

So far so good. Did 2 loads of wood Saturday night and worked the truck hard. Still a quiet engine

With only 20k miles on our 2500, I have thought about doing the same for Oct-April. BTW replaced the Firestone Transforce 275/70 tires at 21k with Michelin Defender 285/65. Lowered the TPMS values to 30 F 40 B and set tire pressure at 40 F 50 B for around town. Big difference in ride and handling. Fitz

This is 4 bones off at costco, 25.99 a 6 case, and they even have a high mileage version also 25.99 a 6 case. What is it? M1 rebranded as Mobil full syn? They still have m1, so why this as well basically a buck within same price. I always thought space was at a premium at costco, so I am puzzled at this. Weird can't post a pic, but it is Mobil Full Synthetic not m1. 5w20 says no dexos, weird.
