Do these even exist? Can y’all get me up to speed on what is what. On car gurus it seems they all have 5 foot 7 inch beds unless it’s a quad cab

You can get crew cab with either the 5' 7" or 6' 4" bed

The quad cab only comes with the 6' 4" bed

I just traded a 2020 1500 Longhorn with a 6.4 bed for a 2021 3500 Dually. They exist but not very common.

I'll sell you mine for the low low cost of.........50k lmao.

On a more serious note i got lucky when I was looking last yr and found a nice one that was the color I wanted at a dealership 40 miles from my house. They're out there just not as common as the shorter bed trucks.

You just have to be patient and look until you find one. Or you can order one, that's how I got mine.

So far I've owned mine for 7 months and I've seen two other 4th gen trucks with the same 149" wheelbase. I've seen a few more 5th gens in this config though.

Funny part is that I wasn't looking for it, didn't even know they made them.

I’ve got one and it wasn’t hard to find. They aren’t hard to find in this area. I think it all depends on the area and what the stealership decides to order for the lot.

yes they do exist, I have one, although I believe the quad cab is more common in the 6'4" bed

They are uncommon, but out there. This is a bit of a bad time as inventories are low, but they do indeed exist. If you go to a 2500 then all the short box crew cabs are the 6'4" box if you're on the fence about needing a bigger truck there's that option as well.

If you're in the market for an ex-rental Ram 1500 classic, they can absolutely be had w/ long bed in SLT trim. Problem is, the prices are through the roof. It doesn't make sense to buy late model used right now. https://www.enterprisecarsales.com/...09/Used-2020-RAM-1500-Classic-East-Amherst-NY

I purchased my 2019 short bed SLT CC, 4x4, hemi w/ 15K miles on it from this store in July 2020 for $27K +TTL. I wish it was the 6'4" bed, but it was the cleanest, lowest miles classic they had at the time at this price.

they’re smoking crack for that price for that stripped down truck.

I agree, prices are crazy on trucks now. My truck is similar to that one but with many more options. Pre covid I spent 27k out the door. It's a 19 classic cc hemi long box and it had only 12k on it. But with the chip shortage/covid/ everything else going on its worth 36-38 in my area. With 26000 on the clock.

If I was considering going to a car or SUV I'd sell right now as I'm getting calls to buy my truck even if I don't want to trade in for solid money and the car and SUV market hasn't really gone up around here so the timing would be perfect. Problem is I need a truck and the bed I have seems small as is so the shorter short bed doesn't work for me. New version of the same truck I have is double what I paid so I'll hold onto what I have. crew cab 6'4" box 1500 even with the ridiculous offers I've been getting. If you have patience you'll find one, but expect to over pay right now. I'm curious what incentives will look like when the chips finally catch up and those miles of built but not completed trucks get finished.

I was in the same boat as you last year. I wanted a CC, 6.4 box with the Hemi and 3.92's. Hard to find all three. I wound up finding 2 relatively quickly but they had 3.21's.

Then I ran into two with the 3.92 gears out of the blue and bought the truck I have now. Absolutely love it.

Be patient, you'll find your truck.

huh. there's a ton of crew cabs with 6'4 beds out there. All of the 2500's do.

Just have to look, they aren't that terribly hard to find, but right now, pricing is a premium...

I have a grey 1500 crew cab with the 6.4' bed. It also has the blacked out package and 392 read end. I love everything about it except for the gas milage and parking. I can live wth both.
