Heats starting to pickup here in Manitoba. So I enabled Global Windows Down And Up in AlfaOBD (UP Didn't do nothing but was hopeful.). I also got a can of plastidip so I can black out my emblems when its not to windy but it might also rain in the next few days so when the weathers nice.

I don't think anyone as gotten the Up to work.

Installed my putco led tailgate brake light bar...stripped it off my 04 before I traded it in. Before that it was on my dads truck. The thing still works great! It’s not the latest sequential or blade technology, but still looks pretty sweet and it doesn’t owe me anything at this point!

Lots of good info from this forum about the adapters I needed to get it done on the 16. Plus the trick about splicing into the 7 wire for reverse was genius.

I did the same with my Opt7 tailgate bar. Lasted me 2 different trucks and 5 years of nasty North East winters and blazing summers. I got my $65 out of that thing and it lasted through so much I bought another one. It would have kept going except the wires at the connector finally broke from the hard bend angle they were at for the 180 degree turn to hide them into the bumper. Anyways, the light bar didn’t fall, the wiring did. Bought another one and I expect 5yrs out of it.

So i need to badly fix my trucks paint. I need to do a full detail, cut and polish, and my current buffer is trash and will overheat 1/4 of the way through. So i went and ordered a new polisher this morning.

Ive only ever used corded Dewalt buffers and then some random ones, so i am super excited to try out this cordless polisher. I feel like ill be way more likely to grab it and fix a paint issue then i would to get out 2 extension cords, run them over a fence and out front, then deal with the cord of the buffer. I can just grab this and go.

Also ordered another battery. I have a few m18's but they are 3.0's and i needed something that was going to last alot longer.

Then, i needed to order new badges for my door. The ones i had bought will not work because of issues in the paint, i need to cover the entire RAM 1500 spot that the old emblem was at, and my new badges only had the RAM part. So i had to order all new badges that were the full RAM 1500.

And then i wanted to do something with my foglights, but i didnt want the Morimoto LED Fogs, so i decided to order this setup off Amazon and if the pods are crap, ill just order some good ones. It was cheap enough that it was worth it for the brackets alone.

Still waiting on my replacement MX4 cover, i have to remove the vinyls currently on my truck, remove the grille and headlights and fender flares so when i do the full detail, i dont have to worry about hitting them with the buffer as they do not have a finish on them that is polishable. It looks like my new Milwakuee Polisher will be here Friday, so ill prepare my truck on Friday for the full detail, and then i can do the detail early saturday morning. Then i have new vinyls with a new design to put on, new bed caps to put on, all the parts i took off to detail it, i also have the replacement cover... so lots of work to do this weekend on my truck.

In the next 60 days i plan to order the following parts:
- MaxTrac Front Upper Control Arms
- Core4x4 Rear Tier 3 Kit
- The Power Stop Brake Kit with Drilled + Slotted Rotors, Pads and Red Powder Coated Calipers

Those look good, I'll have to see about getting them!
They are on sale right now and with the digital coupon it was like 20 bucks shipped to my house. They are super easy to install. Pop your old covers off the brake and e brake. E brake snaps on the brake was a little tight, but top to bottom got it on in about a minute and then the gas pedal just slide right over it.

Let a single mom have our nice play set. Then I scored a factory radio with nav and dvd! I need to figure out how to hook my aftermarket backup camera to it.

My Toyos are black on both sides on my truck but a set of the same tires for my sons Xterra and they are white letter on one side. Just depends on size tire I guess.

I guess so. Its kind of a hard thing to find now days.

I thought white letters weren’t a thing anymore until I bought my new truck and found out they still exist lol. Have to admit I have no urge to change it either. They’ve grown on me.

Just for comparison.

Looks like the same mounts I have from Rigid. Added the Rigid lights. So much better than stock.

For what its worth... the pic you have posted shows (2) drivers side mounts. Make sure you actually get one which is stamped (D) and one (P). They are not reversible. Took a bit of wiggeling to get them in. Trick is to mount the lights first, and then as a whole unit maneuver them into place.

I agree that’s what I thought till My son had the toyos installed. He opted to have the black outside though. The Michelin’s look great on your truck! Bad ass truck! I know the bfg ko2 have a white letter also.

Thanks for the tips. Yea the pic was ripped straight from the Amazon listing so I’m sure the seller just copy pasted the one bracket and pods and just flipped it in PS to make the second one. Work smarter not harder lol.

I’m going to be doing a full detail on my truck over the weekend so I’ll be removing the front bumper anyways so I’ll throw these in when I do that. I’ll make sure they work before I put them in and I’ll double check the mounts cutouts to make sure they say P and D.

That turned out nice! I love doing projects like this! I redid my wifes rocking chair that was in her nursery. It was almost 100 years old.
