No, I did not misunderstand.
If it is a 2018+, it doesn’t matter where on earth the vehicle was marketed/exported to, it has a security gateway module. It doesn’t matter if it is “A” challenger, or “The” challenger.

Yes, it has. I have bypass cable also, otherwise I can't change these options.

As I explained, it worked perfectly with 2018 Challenger with 8.4" Alpine audio system (I used with with SWG bypass cable).
But unfortunately it doesn't work with 2018 Challenger with 8.4" Harman Kardon audio system. I think this car needs some other changes also, but what?,
I found 2-3 similar cases (no FM audio), but nobody knows the solution.

Every time I’ve messed around with changing the country of destination setting, a few other settings automatically get changed in ECUConfig 3, with no rhyme or reason which ones or why. Since you’re not getting FM, I would check “ECUConfig 3: Antennas Type”, and make sure it is set to “Passive Primary and NO Secondary”.

I checked the "ECUConfig 2:Antenna Type" and I set to "Passive Primary and NO Secondary" but unfortunately still no sound from FM.

Hello i have a weird problem. I've set ECUconfig3 -> country of destination to POLAND so now i have unlocked Polish language in my radio.
But i have no sound in the radio. I can tune it fine, also names of the stations are correctly displayed but i'm not getting any sound.
When i connect with my phone ii have sound, android auto etc. Music plays fine.

Werid thing is that when i unplug the negative cable from my battery - the radio works fine untill i lock the car or open the doors.
What coding should i change to have my sound back?
What i'm trying to achive is to have polish language and radio translated.
What could i do?

Can anyone help with changing radio to EU frequencies?

I have successfully tried with 3 cars this solution and it worked perfectly:
via AlfaOBD (BodyComputer->Car configuration change->ECUConfig 3: Country of Destination to Germany)
After 2 resets, everything works.

Cars where this solution worked are 2016 Ram 1500 with 5" screen, 2017 Challenger with 5" screen and 2018 Challenger with 8.4" screen (Alpine sound).

But now I'm struggling with 2018 Challenger with 8.4" screen, it has Harman Kardon system and almost all extras what was offered.
Radio frequencies can be changed with the same solution, but there is no sound from FM radio (it shows correct radio names and you can tune EU frequencies).
If you play through mobile phone, then there is sound.
One fact more, always you have to make 2 resets for radio, but after first reset, the radio is working perfectly, also EU frequencies. But after second reset, there is no sound.
Does anybody have solution?

No, I haven't tried to Update the UCONNECT. Maybe there is some software bug and update helps. I could try this.

Yes, if I change Country of Destination back to USA, the FM sound comes back immediately after restarting the radio.

What about the first ECUConfig 3 setting- Configuration Messages Status 3? What is that set to, and if you change it, is there an effect on the sound?

I saved configuration with log files for both Destination of Country versions and for both it says: "Configuration Messages Status 3: Programmed"

If you have both log files from before you made any changes, and the current file, can you post it or send it to me, and I can take a look at it later.

Need some help... Changed tires to 275-60x20's and went in to AfphaOBD to change tire size. It accepted the tire size, but then when I try to initialize the ABS..... the START button isn't live. It is just 'grayed' out.

What do I need to do?

I have a 2014 with a GDE ECU tune.

Anything other than the programer recommend Scantool dongle may work for some changes but possibly not for others.
The Scantool recommended one works flawlessly. At the reflash cost around $150 plus a possible to a dealer, IMHO go with the Scantool.

How is everyone getting ahold of Alexey? Also how quickly has he been responding? I just traded in my Ram for a 2022 Rubicon 4xe and nothing is connecting (yes I installed a security bypass).
