On my way home from the jobsite I filled up my car at kwik trip. It had the top tier sticker on the pump but all four corners you could see where someone had tried to peel it off. It's posted at the Cenex in Hayward. Perhaps enforcement is nonexistent, as I posited?

Had to pickup my daughter so I took the truck to Cenex and at least at this one the 91 with no ethanol had no mention of not being able to use it in vehicles. They did have top tier stickers on the pumps. And no sign of someone trying to take them off. Only the 91 didn't have ethanol in it. 87 and 89 both did.
Both gas stations were in Chippewa Falls. Home of Leinenkugels
Cenex did have them.
I posted before about kwik trips having top tier fuel here but maybe I was just seeing the stickers that weren't or like I saw today a bad attempt to remove the stickers from their pumps.
Could just be coincidence but a guy I work with has been driving his truck 2018 ram 2500 with the 5.7 for work a lot lately since it's winter. For work we have a gas card for kwik trip so that means he's only been getting gas from there lately. Today he was telling me his truck hasn't been running like it "was in the summer." He wasn't complaining about gas mileage just a rougher idle.
I filled up in Rochester Mn hope I don’t go to prison. Absolute worst mpg I get is when I am running Minnesota gas.

Ahhh! Yes! Cops violating your 4th amendment rights, yet again. If a cop stopped me and wanted a sample of my fuel, I'd challenge him/her with the need for them to have a search warrant.... Even then, they have no proof YOU put it in the tank, unless they have documentable evidence you did. After all, there might have been some of that fuel in the ground tank where you bought the gas. That's just one exampled of reasonable doubt.Yeah, definitely get that when you can. There's a remote place I camp sometimes and all they carry is ethanol free 92 octane. My truck loves that stuff for sure.
Do be careful with the "recreational use only" as that could mean it's not taxed and you can get in trouble if caught using in a vehicle on the road. In my area there is "farm diesel" available. It's a different color and police will randomly pull people over and take a dip in your tank to check the color. I've heard it's a pretty big fine if you get caught evading the taxes.
He is a genuine moron.... for sure.Canada has mandated all gasolines to have 10% ethanol in them. Our prime minister is an idiot who thinks he can singlehandedly save the world through his climate change fixation.

The turbo 6.5 Liter GM engines of the 90's had a light sensitive sensor in the injector pump.... seems as it used infra red for fuel timing control. Owners would put the red farm fuel into the tank.... and, wonder of wonders, the truck would die and not run until the fuel had been replaced and the system purged and bled of the red fuel!In my state. https://mdt.mt.gov/business/fueltax/dyed-aware.aspx
the reason people get caught is their buddies drop the dime on them and some are stupid enough to fill up their rigs in front of the world. Most all the pumps are on video as well. I have never heard of anyone actually getting pulled over to be dipped. it appears the first two incidents are a civil process. My guess is they review the video and you get a letter in the mail.
