So the other day at my apartment I had to park in the dirt because lack of parking. Fine, but when I woke up said dirt was mud. I get in my truck to go to my parents house only to not surprisingly find Im stuck. Not far from the concrete, but just far enough. Anyway, I go and wiggle my way around, sliding about a little bit. Two wheel drive with stock tires and Im actually not doing too bad compared to some of the bigger trucks here with more suited tires. So I give it my all but I just cant quite make it.
I think my main issue is I couldnt rev high enough to give more power to the tires. I could have made it out if i could have given it more. I tired to/haul mode, but once I started slipping it would jump out of it. It would go to about 2000 rpm and wont go any higher. I now better tires would help, but its a rare occasion that I have to park in the dirt/mud so its not really worth it for a full change of tires. Any suggestions or anything for when this inevitably happens again?
