Lots of opinions on these light both positive and negative.

Still-shots in our garage mean, well, nothing. How they perform on the street is all that matters.

Video taken driving home from a store all the way to my house. You can see how they perform in pitch black, with stop lights, other cars on the road, in neighborhoods, up the hill, down the hill, etc.

Should help people getting ready to plop down $1350 for these lights as opposed to some vanity shot showing the DRLs.

Apologize for the music, radio stations were reset at the dealer and I haven’t had time.

Pay special attention to left front blindspot, left high blindspots, lack of ability to see past 20ish feet, etc.

Yes they have been adjusted, they can’t move any further up.

I need to adjust mine down I have a 6 lift with 35 tires .
Can they be adjusted while lights are in place or do they need to be removed?
Are the adjustments numbered so it easy to keep both the same not sure how it works

You use a #2 Philips screwdriver in the same spot as the factory adjusters.
There isn't any numbers on the adjusters.
With projector headlights, you set the lower part of the cut off line 2" lower @25' than the center of projector on the vehicle.
Do the driver's side first and then match the passenger side

Dont think I have factory adjusters as I replaced the whole bezel.
I cant adjust from top cause adjuster screw is the other direction .
Not sure how you can adjust with lights in mounted position.
It says not to go beyond 3 full rotations of the screwdriver
Also I'm to assume counter clockwise is going down.

Did you adjust the washer on the vertical screw of the headlight mounting screws? Sometimes it will spin when un-mounting and re-mounting which will throw your vertical off as well.

If you have the XB morimoto headlights, see here https://www.theretrofitsource.com/media/custom/upload/Ram_XB_LED_Headlights.pdf

Pages 11 thru 13 deal with where the adjustments are, and how to aim the lights. The three rotation is for the adjuster. It take many turns of the screwdriver to equal one full turn of the adjuster.

They have been adjusted, multiple times. The performance shown is not an adjustment issue, it’s simply what some people can potentially expect after they make the purchase. Some have no issues, some like me, clearly have not had such luck.

And to add, adjusting them won’t help the clear hotspots as well as the loss of light pattern on the bottom left driver’s side.

What would be interesting is if some of the die hard supporters take a similar video, we can compare and contrast.

Proof within the pudding and all that.

I get that the DRL’s are cool. Proper functioning headlights should be cooler.

^^^ this
If the headlights are low and you don't have enough adjustment upwards, check to make sure the bottom of the housing isn't dipping down. The lower headlight mount is height adjustable.

Again,

It’s not a leveling issue. Driver’s side is going to be replaced under warranty.

Yup, you got it. I’ll do a follow-up once I get the one side replaced.

Just wondering, did you level them with the tilt adjustment that is part of the truck and not the headlight? This should be done before any adjustments are made on the headlight itself. The mounting bolt on the lower inside has a spin nut that that adjusts the tilt before you adjust the light itself. Looks like your drivers light maybe tilted down to the inside which is giving you the dark area in the bottom left corner.
Surprisingly, nothing mentioned about this in the service manual

Lights were leveled using the bottom bolt as well as the internal mechanism.

The leveling isn’t causing the ghosting of the light pattern, that is coming from inside the housing. Watch the video and look at the light pattern within the illuminated area and you’ll see what I’m talking about.

Not sure what you’re referring to as ghosting. Could you elaborate? My understanding it is an LED that stays on faintly when the light is turned off.
At any rate, it does look look like your drivers light is clockwise down about 2 to 3°, but obviously ,if it’s coming from inside the light that will not solve your problem
